Hello Halo ("we", "our", "us") is operated by AfterArk LLC. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Hello Halo app and website.
Account information. When you sign in, we collect your email address and display name via Firebase Authentication (Google or Apple sign-in).
Profile information. You may create family profiles with a display name, age range, and color preference. This data is stored in Firebase Firestore.
Usage data. We track basic usage such as chat message counts and feature interactions to enforce daily limits and award badges. We do not log the content of your conversations.
Subscription data. If you subscribe to Hello Halo Premium, payment is processed by Stripe. We store your subscription status but do not have access to your full payment card details.
Hello Halo uses third-party AI services (OpenAI and Anthropic) to power saint conversations and Chorus. Your messages are sent to these services to generate responses. We do not use your conversations to train AI models. Please review OpenAI's and Anthropic's privacy policies for details on how they handle data.
Your data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase) infrastructure located in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your information.
Hello Halo is designed for families. Children's profiles are created and managed by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 without parental consent.
We retain your account and profile data as long as your account is active. You can delete your account and all associated data by contacting us.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing us.
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes through the app or by email.
